We Love What God Loves by Gloria Toti

We were a threat to who?  So, when did gathering together to share our values move up to being a threat that requires the kind of security measure our city took?

We were basically having church in the street, and then moved to pray and walk around the area.  Then we all went home.  The next thing we heard was there was a watchlist created by those who don’t seem to value life like God does.  I feel I should issue another type of warning:

People don’t go against God.  That is never a good idea.

Well, little did I know that standing up for the lives of unborn children in the womb would allow me to see the battle up close and in full color.

When asked to be on the team, I remember telling them I would have to pray first.  I wanted to make sure God was leading.  I knew I would need his protection.  Well, today, I am fired up.

Standing up for life is an honor.  Those babies in the womb deserve us to be fired up.

I have three I stand amazed statements that cause my prayers to intensify, and I ask you to join me:

I stand amazed at how standing up for the things God loves has now become controversial in our society.

I stand amazed to see how the value of LIFE is not valued by all in the church.

I stand amazed at the nature of those bent on destroying stop at nothing.

This time has come to see if our community will stand for LIFE, or will it allow the spirit of evil to permeate life as we know it.

Let me share an account from the Bible from II Kings 13

And Elisha said to him, “Take a bow and some arrows.” So he took himself a bow and some arrows. 16 Then he said to the king of Israel, “Put your hand on the bow.” So he put his hand on it, and Elisha put his hands on the king’s hands. 17 And he said, “Open the east window”; and he opened it. Then Elisha said, “Shoot”; and he shot. And he said, “The arrow of the Lord’s deliverance and the arrow of deliverance from Syria; for you must strike the Syrians at Aphek till you have destroyed them.” 18 Then he said, “Take the arrows”; so he took them .And he said to the king of Israel, “Strike the ground”; so he struck three times, and stopped. 19 And the man of God was angry with him, and said, “You should have struck five or six times; then you would have struck Syria till you had destroyed it! But now you will strike Syria only three times.”

The king only tapped three times. With no intensity.   tap – tap – tap

On May 1st, we can for LIFE.  We need all who call themselves Christians to show up with intensity and passion to see LIFE WIN OVER DEATH
